This past weekend our HOA sub-association sponsored a block party. They rented inflatables for the kids to play in and provided a great picnic dinner. We had a lot of fun visiting with friends and watching the kids play. Our favorite part of the party was when the fire and police departments showed up to teach the kids safety classes. The kids got lots of free goodies and got to see the fire truck and ambulance up close. The fire department finished it all off by hooking up the fire hose and letting the kids run and play in the water. Both the kids and adults liked this activity. We had a lot of fun and feel so fortunate to have such great neighbors and a great fire and police department to come help us out!

How fun. Any cute firemen? Your city always has fun events. Or maybe, I'm just too lazy to look into the city events that all cities have. Hmmm...
