Drew the Pantsless Wonder

So, I don't know what it is, but my kids cannot keep pants on to save their lives. Emma has learned over the years how to pull her pants back up so they don't fall off, but sadly Drew is unconcerned with trivial nuisances such as pants. I constantly find him with his pants off. In the instance that I catch him in the act of actually taking them off- I try to stop him, but he laughs and takes them off and throws them. Alas, I have given up my crusade to have fully dressed children and succumbed to rule of "pants optional in the Watson house" (enter at your own risk). In addition to his inability to keep his pants on, he is exhibiting a truly "Drew" moment here: eating his favorite snack, a spoonful of peanut butter while basking in the glory of wearing no pants. He constantly goes to the cupboard and points at the peanut butter and says "pease, pease" (his attempts at the word please).
This next picture may explain why Drew's pants won't stay on...he is tiny. The poor little boy hasn't hit the charts for size since he was 6 months old. He is fun and easy to carry around, but weighing in at 19 lbs. at 18 months is a little sad. Don't worry- they have checked- nothing is wrong, he is just small and this picture seems to sum it up. I looked over and found him relaxing in this basket that I keep bathroom supplies in. He dumped out the basket, turned on the tv, and sat watching in this position. The basket is about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and I couldn't believe he fit in it! (It was laundry day so the room is full of laundry baskets and clothes- and he had just eaten lunch and we hadn't got cleaned up yet so his face is a mess...but his pants are on!)
