Brayden, Zach, and sister MeggieFor those of you who are not aware, my sister has two children (Brayden and Zach pictured above) with disabilities. They have Jacobsen Syndrom (11q). This is a fairly rare syndrom with only recent study and research. My sister is President of the 11q Research and Resource Group and is hosting a fundraiser through Usborne Books. Some of our best-selling books include:
· Internet linked books. These incredible books contain descriptions of websites you can visit to delve deeper into the subject on the pages. Visit them through http://www.usborne-quicklinks.com/, click on the title, page number and the recommended and monitored links will be there! The books are outstanding reference books with or without Internet access. To view these books in the online bookstore, select "Internet-Linked" under Categories.
· Dual-level readers. These books have a simple line at the top of the page and more text at the bottom. You could read only the top for a younger child who would like to turn the page or all the text for a child who would like a more complete story. When the child begins reading they could read the top and you could read the bottom - already leveled for you and your budding reader to read together! To view these books on the online bookstore, search for Farmyard Tales readers, First Experiences, Bible Tales, Tales from Littletown and Castle Tales.
· Kid Kits. These great kits offer a book from our regular line PLUS items to do those project with – they make for complete fun and learning! Kid Kits also make one-of-a-kind birthday presents! To view kits for all ages and in all price points, click on "Kid Kits" under Categories.
· Plus, for fun books that keep kids entertained during long car trips, check out our Great Search series and 1001 Things to Spot series!

Is Megan seriously that old? I still picture her as a baby. I swear she was just adopted yesterday. Crazy.
