This week Emma started Preschool and Dance. For the past couple of years, I have done a co-op preschool with Emma but decided to enroll her in an official preschool this year. She was very excited and didn't even let me walk her in. She told me she could handle it on her own- I have to admit I was a little disappointed because I didn't realize she was so ready to leave me! She did make me feel better later that night when she told me the only thing she didn't like about preschool was that mom wasn't there (did I mention how much I love this girl!).

As for dance, Emma has only participated in community programs that left a lot to be desired, so this year she started at a real studio. She loved it and looked to cute in class trying to follow all of the directions. It helps that she has three other little friends in the class and they all seemed to love it today. So it appears that my little girl is growing up. I can't believe she is so big and she constantly surprises me by what she can do. Before I know it she will be chasing boys and driving cars...

As long as she chases MY BOY, everything will be okay.
..unless she's chasing him while she's driving..that could get ugly.
What a sweetheart! She is getting so big and so old. She seems like she is so mature for her age! I'm glad that she likes school and that she loves her mom!
